Dulquer Salmaan is marking a deeply personal and professional milestone as he completes 14 years in the film industry, a journey that has seen him grow from a promising newcomer into one of the most versatile actors in Indian cinema.
To celebrate the occasion, the actor surprised fans by unveiling a new poster from his upcoming action thriller I’m Game, offering a glimpse into what promises to be a powerful new chapter in his career.
The poster release has generated considerable excitement, not least because I’m Game will be Dulquer Salmaan’s 40th film and his much-awaited return to Malayalam cinema after a gap.
Slated for a theatrical release during Onam 2026, the film is already being spoken about as one of the biggest festive releases on the horizon.
Reflecting on his journey, Dulquer Salmaan took to social media to thank fans who have stood by him through every phase of his career.
In an emotional post, he wrote, “Today marks 14 years of my journey as an actor. Thank you, each and every one of you! For the endless love. For the encouragement. For a place in your hearts. To mark this milestone, sharing a poster from my next.” Along with the note, he shared the poster from I’m Game, which quickly drew admiration and excitement online.
Director Nahas Hidayath also joined in celebrating the milestone, paying tribute to the actor’s dedication and impact.
Sharing his thoughts, he wrote, “14 years of Dulquer Salmaan @dqsalmaan. A journey of passion, perseverance, and stories that inspire millions. Get ready for a grand homecoming with #ImGame this Onam. Proud to be a part of this remarkable journey.” His words further hinted at the scale and ambition of the film.
I’m Game is produced by Dulquer Salmaan alongside Jom Verghese. The story has been written by Nahas Hidayath, who also directs the film, while the screenplay has been developed by Sajeer Baba, Bilal Moidu and Ismail Aboobacker.
The film features a strong ensemble cast, including Antony Varghese, Mysskin, Kathir, Parth Thiwari and Samyuktha Viswanathan. Actress Kayadu Lohar joined the project in December, with her casting announced by Nahas Hidayath.
The technical team includes cinematographer Jimshi Khalid, editor Chaman Chakko and music composer Jakes Bejoy, while the action sequences are choreographed by the renowned Anbariv Masters.
Filming began on 3 May last year, and with every update, anticipation continues to build for Dulquer Salmaan’s big Onam 2026 homecoming.
