Amid growing tensions in the Middle East following the recent US-Israel strikes on Iran, actor Chiranjeevi’s youngest daughter, Sreeja Konidela, has shared a reassuring update from Dubai, where she is currently living with her two daughters.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Sreeja sought to calm the concerns of friends, fans and well-wishers by affirming that she and her children are “safe and well-protected” despite the regional uncertainty.

In her post, she expressed gratitude for the messages of support she has received. She hinted that she now resides in Dubai with her daughters, Nivrithi and Navishka, rather than in Hyderabad.

The Instagram Story included a photograph of the Burj Khalifa and the city skyline, with the UAE flag flying high, and the caption: “We chose this country and we stand with it.”

In a follow-up note, Sreeja thanked everyone for their concern and prayed for peace and calm amid the ongoing crisis. She wrote, “So thankful for every call and message. It means more than you know. We're safe here in Dubai and well protected. Sending love and prayers for peace and calm (folded hands emoji).”

Her message comes as the US-Iran conflict reaches its third day, prompting heightened worry among Indians living in the Gulf region and others around the world. The situation has led to flight cancellations and disruptions in travel, leaving several Indian citizens, including celebrities, stranded or concerned about their safety. Reports note that actors such as Sonal Chauhan and Subhashree Ganguly have also provided updates on their circumstances in the region, with some seeking assistance due to travel restrictions caused by the conflict.

Sreeja’s update was welcomed by fans and followers, who had been seeking clarity after news of regional tensions and intermittent reports of loud noises and defensive military activity in parts of the UAE surfaced on social media. Her calm and grateful tone aimed to reassure those worried about her family’s well-being during a volatile time.
