The buzz around director Murali Kishor Abburu’s upcoming film Lenin continues to grow, and the latest update has only added to the excitement.
The makers have officially unveiled the first look of actress Bhagyashri Borse, who stars opposite Akhil Akkineni in this highly anticipated action entertainer.
The first look poster was shared on Friday by Sithara Entertainments, which is producing the film along with actor Nagarjuna.
Announcing her introduction to the project, the production house wrote, "Vareva vareva.. vavva vavva vareva.. Introducing #BhagyashriBorse from #LENIN. First Single from JAN 5th." The poster also carried the caption, “Introducing the love of Lenin, Bharathi”, confirming that Bhagyashri Borse will be seen playing a character named Bharathi.

The reveal gives audiences their first glimpse into the emotional side of Lenin, with Bharathi clearly positioned as an important presence in the protagonist’s journey.
The poster also subtly confirms that the film is being lined up for a theatrical release in the summer of 2026, giving fans something concrete to look forward to.
Interest in Lenin has been strong ever since its announcement, especially due to Akhil Akkineni’s intense transformation for the role. Initially, actress Sree Leela was signed on as the female lead, but she had to step away from the project due to date clashes.
Bhagyashri Borse later came on board, and her casting has been welcomed as a fresh and promising addition to the film.
The makers had earlier released a title glimpse on Akhil Akkineni’s birthday last year, which immediately caught attention for its powerful visuals and tone.

The video opens with imagery that evokes the final battle from the epic Mahabharata, before introducing Akhil Akkineni’s character with a strikingly fierce expression and a clenched fist.
A voiceover states, “My dad said that when one is born, one has life and no name. Similarly, when one dies, one does not have life and only the name remains. How that name should be remembered is…”, followed by the dramatic reveal of the title Lenin. The tagline, ‘No war is more violent than love’, hints at a story that blends action with deep emotional conflict.
