Actor-writer Adivi Sesh is gearing up for his highly anticipated film, Dacoit. The film features the classic 90s hit song ‘Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast’ from Mohraa. The song was purposefully added to the film to evoke nostalgia among viewers.

Incorporating the song's instantly identifiable background score from the iconic movie Mohra is not just a creative decision but also a very personal one for Adivi Sesh, based on treasured childhood memories.

The actor talked about the emotional significance behind adding the song to the film and said, “Some songs stay with you forever, and Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast is one of those songs for me. Growing up in the 90s, this track was everywhere, and I absolutely loved it. It was actually part of the first dance performance I ever did on a school stage, in a medley of songs, and that moment is still very vivid in my memory.”

He added, “When we were working on the film, I felt an instinctive pull to bring this song in - not as a gimmick, but as a feeling. Using it as one the songs in the film was my way of tipping my hat to that younger version of myself who fell in love with music, performance, and the joy of entertaining people.”

The actor continued, “We made sure to acquire the rights properly because it mattered to me that this homage was done the right way. It’s a small, personal memory woven into a much larger film, and I hope audiences feel that sense of nostalgia and energy when they hear it.”

More than just a hit song at the time, Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast was Adivi Sesh's favorite song as a child. The song actually has a particular place in his heart because it was a part of his very first on-stage dancing performance during his school days. Sesh's first public performance occurred when he sang a medley of songs at a school function as a child, with Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast being one of the highlights.

Fans have already started talking about the nostalgic touch, which combines the excitement of Dacoit with a cherished musical recollection from the 1990s. Adivi Sesh once again demonstrates his ability to combine cinematic vision with personal storytelling with this well-considered inclusion, giving an emotional element that transcends the screen.
