Rashmika Mandanna talks about working with Salman Khan in Sikandar, saying "He’s such a special person ..."

Rashmika Mandanna, currently basking in the phenomenal success of Pushpa 2, is also immersed in filming her much-anticipated movie Sikandar alongside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. In a recent interview, the talented actress shared her thoughts on the exciting experience of collaborating with the seasoned actor.

Talking about her experience with India Today, Rashmika stated, "It’s absolutely a dream come true. He’s such a special person and so down-to-earth and grounded. I was not well on set when we were shooting. The moment he found out about it, he asked me if I was okay and told the crew to get me healthy food, warm water, and everything."

She went on saying, "He really takes care of you and makes you feel special. I mean, he’s one of the biggest stars in the country, but he’s so humble and down-to-earth."

Expressing her enthusiasm for the project, Rashmika said, "I am really excited about Sikandar. It’s going to be a very special film for me, and I can’t wait for my fans to watch it."

Rashmika and Salman have filmed portions of Sikandar across locations in Hyderabad and Mumbai.

The action-packed thriller Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, is set for a grand theatrical release on Eid 2025.

Allu Arjun and Rashmika mandanna's Pushpa 2, directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, continues its record-breaking spree at the box office. Featuring Fahadh Faasil as the primary antagonist and Anasuya Bharadwaj in pivotal roles, the film has surpassed the ₹1000 crore mark globally. Its monumental success reinforces the franchise's massive appeal and shows no signs of slowing down.

On the work front, Rashmika Mandanna has also commenced filming for her upcoming project Thama with Ayushmann Khurrana. Additionally, she is gearing up for the release of Chhaava, a period drama where she stars alongside Vicky Kaushal.
