Pushpa 2: The Rule actor Rashmika Mandanna came to the defense of her co-star Allu Arjun on Friday, following his arrest in connection with the tragic death of a woman during the film's screening in Hyderabad. Rashmika expressed that no individual should be solely held accountable for the unfortunate incident.

Allu Arjun was arrested earlier in the day from his residence and taken to Chikkadpally police station. While a local court had remanded him to 14 days of judicial custody, the Telangana High Court later granted him interim bail.

As fans across the nation express their support for the actor, his co-star Rashmika Mandanna, who plays Srivalli in the film, also extended her solidarity. Taking to social media, Rashmika shared a heartfelt message voicing her support for Allu Arjun amidst this challenging time and posted on X that read, "I can’t believe what I am seeing right now.. The incident that happened was an unfortunate and deeply saddening incident. However, it is disheartening to see everything being blamed on a single individual. This situation is both unbelievable and heartbreaking."

The incident, which occurred on the night of December 4, claimed the life of a 35-year-old woman and left her eight-year-old son critically injured. The tragedy unfolded when a massive crowd gathered at Sandhya Theatre to catch a glimpse of the Telugu superstar.

Bollywood Varun Dhawan had also spoken in support odd Allu Arjun's arrest earlier in the day during the promotion of his upcoming film Baby John. He said, "Safety protocols are not something that an actor can take on himself. We can tell people around us like I can talk about this only; Cinepolis has made a very good arrangement here, and we are grateful to them for that. And the incident that took place is very painful."

Meanwhile, Pushpa 2: The Rule continues its incredible run in theaters, captivating audiences nationwide with its engaging storyline and stellar performances. The film has already shattered several records at the box office worldwide since its release on December 5,2024.
