Rasha Thadani followed in the footsteps of her mother, Raveena Tandon, and made her Bollywood debut with the film Azaad. She starred alongside Ajay Devgn and his nephew, Aaman Devgan.
However, the film failed to receive the expected response at the box office and grossed approximately Rs 10 crore at worldwide theatres. Despite the box office, the film notably earned a great response at the Ott release.
Additionally, Rasha and Aaman received huge appreciation for their performance in the film, and now a scene from the film has gone viral on the internet.
In the viral scene, Rasha’s character, Janaki Bahadur, assures Govind, the stable boy played by Aaman, that she didn't betray him. She reveals her empathetic side, confessing that she felt remorseful for him after he was brutally beaten and admitted that she couldn’t sleep for several nights.
However, her demeanor abruptly shifts from innocent and gentle to dominating, showcasing her impressive range as an actress. Rasha’s versatility left the fans in awe with several praising her acting.
A social media user wrote, “She knows acting.” Another person wrote, “Is film me inki acting aur gaane bahut badhiya hai sabhi gaane.” A third user noted, “DAMN SHE IS BORN FOR THE INDUSTRY!” A fourth user penned, "After Alia Bhat this girl is the only good actor in whole Nepo kids."
Rasha and Aaman notably received praise from the fans while drawing comparisons with fellow star kids Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor, who failed to impress with Nadaaniyan.
