Renowned choreographer, actor, and director Prabhudheva has passed the torch to the next generation, introducing his son, Rishii Ragvendar Deva, in a spectacular live performance. The father-son duo took the stage together for the first time at Prabhudheva’s much-anticipated dance concert in Chennai on February 22.

The event, held at the YMCA Grounds, was a historic moment as the legendary dancer shared the spotlight with his son. Rishii made a powerful stage debut, performing alongside choreographer Sandy and a troupe of dancers before his father joined him in an electrifying rendition of Petta Rap from the 1994 hit Kadhalan. Prabhudheva posted a video of the performance on X (formerly Twitter), he wrote, "Proud to introduce my son Rishii Ragvendar Deva, as we share the spotlight for the first time! This is more than dance - it's legacy and a journey that's just getting started."

The grand event saw a host of celebrities in attendance, including Dhanush, Vadivelu, SJ Suryah, Roja, Meena, and Arun Vijay. Many of them spoke about their admiration for Prabhudheva and shared fond memories of working with him.

While celebrating this personal milestone, Prabhudheva remains busy with his professional commitments. He was last seen in Badass Ravi Kumar, starring Himesh Reshammiya. With multiple projects in various stages of production, fans can expect to see more of his work in the coming months.
