Pooja Hegde reunites with Thalapathy Vijay for 'Thalapathy 69' after Beast success

Pooja Hegde and Thalapathy Vijay are set to reunite on the big screen once again after their collaboration in the 2022 film Beast. The actress has been confirmed to star alongside Vijay in the upcoming, tentatively titled film Thalapathy 69.

This exciting news was shared by KVN Productions on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), sparking excitement among fans. Along with a photo of Pooja, the post read, “Bringing the stunning duo back to the big screen once again. The film will be directed by H. Vinoth, known for his previous works like Sathuranga Vettai, Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru, Nerkonda Paarvai, Valimai, and Thunivu.

Vinoth’s direction has been praised for its gripping storytelling, making him an exciting choice for this upcoming project. Fans are eagerly anticipating the chemistry between Pooja Hegde and Vijay once again, and expectations for Thalapathy 69 are already sky-high.

Pooja Hegde has been keeping busy with other major projects as well. She is currently working on a film tentatively titled Suriya 44, directed by Karthik Subbaraj of Jigarthanda DoubleX fame.

Fans are eagerly waiting for more updates on this film, especially since Suriya’s other highly anticipated project Kanguva, directed by Siruthai Siva, is set for a pan-Indian release on November 14, 2024.

Pooja will also be seen in the action-thriller Sanki opposite Ahan Shetty, which is directed by Yasir Jah and Adnan A. Shaikh.

Pooja Hegde, who made her Bollywood debut with Mohenjo Daro in 2016, has since appeared in several hit films, including Housefull 4, Radhe Shyam, Cirkus, and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, establishing herself as a versatile actress in both Bollywood and South Indian cinema.
