Parineeti Chopra is celebrating her second Karwa Chauth, marking the occasion with unique traditions and festive flair. The Bollywood actor is currently in New Delhi, marking the festival by decorating her home and embracing the cultural practices.

Parineeti, who tied the knot with politician Raghav Chadha in September 2023, will be fasting for his well-being on October 20. This year, she's bringing a modern twist to the festival, evident in her unconventional mehendi design featuring two large hearts connected by strings, departing from the intricate patterns traditionally chosen by women.

Ahead of Karwa Chauth, Parineeti shared glimpses of her preparations on Instagram Stories. The photos and videos showed her simple yet charming mehendi, the exterior of her Delhi home adorned with yellow string lights, and a candid moment of herself relaxing on a rocking chair. She was also spotted around the city earlier, accompanied by Raghav and her in-laws, as she prepared for the day-long fast.

Karwa Chauth is a significant festival for married Hindu women, especially in northern India. Celebrated with much enthusiasm, it involves observing a strict fast from sunrise to moonrise, during which women pray for their husband's long life and prosperity. Participants typically dress up in traditional attire, often red, and accessorise with jewellery and mehendi as part of the customs.

Parineeti and Raghav’s love story has captivated their fans ever since the couple got engaged at Kapurthala House in Delhi in May 2023. Their wedding was a private affair held on September 24, 2023, at The Leela Palace in Udaipur, adding a personal touch to their romantic journey.

On the professional front, Parineeti Chopra was last seen in the film Amar Singh Chamkila, directed by Imtiaz Ali.
