  • No official confirmation yet; ZEE5 or Prime Video also possible for OTT release
  • Kichcha Sudeepa plays a suspended cop battling criminals and corrupt politicians.

Kichcha Sudeepa's newest action-packed thriller, Mark, came out in theatres on December 25, 2025, during the Christmas holiday season. The movie is still playing in theatres, but there is new buzz about its digital premiere. Reports say that the filmmakers have already made a deal for the OTT rights.

As per the reports, Mark will probably stream on JioHotstar after it finishes its run in theatres. The streaming service hasn't made an official announcement yet, but the movie is likely to come out digitally in January 2026.

If the deal with JioHotstar goes through, Mark would be the second straight Kannada movie to premiere on the platform, after the comedy Su From So.

But earlier reports had pointed in a different direction. OTTPlay says that the digital rights could also go to either ZEE5 or Amazon Prime Video. People are guessing because Sudeepa's most recent movies came out on ZEE5, and one of the producer's earlier projects was on Prime Video. We are still waiting for an official confirmation from the makers.

Details about the story and trailer

Mark is about Ajay Markandayya, a suspended police officer known for his violent methods and unbreakable will. When things force him back into action, he has to deal with a dangerous web of criminals and dishonest politicians. The cast and crew

Mark has an ensemble cast that includes Kichcha Sudeepa in the lead role and Naveen Chandra, Yogi Babu, Guru Somasundaram, Dragon Manju, and Shine Tom Chacko in important roles.

Vijay Kartikeyaa wrote and directed the movie. This is his second time working with Sudeepa, after the action movie Max. Kantara fame B. Ajaneesh Loknath wrote the music and background score, and Shekhar Chandra took care of the cinematography.

What will Kichcha Sudeepa do next?

Kichcha Sudeepa will next be seen in Billa Ranga Baasha, a big-budget action-adventure movie that will come out in 2026. It's interesting that the movie was finished before Mark even started filming. The actor will also have a special cameo in Dhruva Sarja's highly anticipated movie KD: The Devil.

Fans are now eagerly waiting for an official announcement about Mark's digital premiere as the OTT buzz continues to grow.
