Archana Puran Singh hits back at Kapil Sharma’s on-show joke in new vlog, says ‘I don’t drink, Kapil ne mera naam kharab krdia hai’

Archana Puran Singh’s latest YouTube vlog offers a warm, unfiltered glimpse into her everyday family life, far removed from the polish of television sets and film studios. Titled “AAAP ka Parivaar”, the video feels like a relaxed invitation into the Singh–Sethi home rather than a carefully curated episode.

Archana Puran Singh’s latest YouTube vlog, “AAAP ka Parivaar”, feels less like a planned episode and more like being invited into the Singh–Sethi household for an ordinary, joyfully messy day.

The actor gives viewers a candid look at family life — full of laughter, teasing and those small, familiar arguments that make a home feel lived in.

The vlog opens with the entire family gathered in front of the television, cheering during a football match. It is an easy, unfiltered moment that sets the tone for what follows.

Soon, everyone drifts into their own routines, while the camera continues to capture snippets of everyday life as it unfolds naturally.

At one point, Archana Puran Singh is seen stepping away for a brand meeting, which becomes a conversation about values and integrity. Sharing her thoughts, she says, “Nice meeting we had. I like working with brands that match my ethics, where I don’t have to sell something I don’t believe in.” Parmeet Sethi, never one to miss an opportunity for humour, quickly quips, “So, you will not sell liquor?”

Archana Puran Singh’s response is sharp, playful and very much in character. “You will sell liquor. And, the amount of liquor you have filled inside your body, you can sell it to entire India. Don’t talk about me, I don’t drink. Mera naam Kapil ne kharaab kia hai (Kapil Sharma has spoilt my name).”

The remark references Kapil Sharma’s long-running jokes on The Great Indian Kapil Show, where Archana Puran Singh is often teased about being tipsy — a gag she clearly takes in good humour.

The camera later shifts to the couple’s bedroom, where wardrobe organisation turns into another affectionate argument. Parmeet Sethi laments, “I have this small space to keep my clothes. I bought new clothes, so now I have to throw away my old ones to make space because you don’t give me space.”

Gesturing towards Archana Puran Singh’s cupboards, he adds, “Tere ko toh nikaal nahi sakta, kam se kam kapde hi nikaal du (I can’t kick you out, at least throw some of your clothes).” Archana laughs it off, reminding viewers that this exaggerated grumbling is strictly for the vlog.

One of the most endearing moments comes when Parmeet Sethi recalls losing a suit during a shoot. “It was a very expensive Giorgio Armani suit, brand new. I had only worn it once in my life. Ekta Kapoor owes me Rs 2 lakhs,” he says, half-serious and half-amused. Archana Puran Singh quickly joins in, joking, “Ekta, if you are listening to this, you owe Parmeet his suit.”
