Pawan Kalyan’s much-awaited film OG has finally hit theatres and is already creating a storm at the box office, especially in North America, after its premiere on Thursday, September 24.
Directed by Sujeeth, the film features Pawan Kalyan and Emraan Hashmi in the lead, with a grand worldwide release on September 25.
According to a popular trade website, OG has collected over Rs 23 crore just from the paid premieres in India alone, breaking the previous record set by Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu (Rs 15 crore). This has now become the biggest-ever paid premiere collection at the Indian box office.
What makes this achievement even more remarkable is the advance booking figure. Worldwide advance sales for the opening day, including premieres, touched a staggering Rs 98 crore. Out of this, India accounted for Rs 65 crore while international markets added Rs 33 crore.

OG has secured the 5th highest advance booking of all time in Indian cinema. The film surpassed big titles like Kalki 2898 AD (Rs 55.3 crores), Devara (Rs 49.9 crores), and Salaar (Rs 49 crores).
