Global Punjabi music icon Karan Aujla turned 29 years old on January 19, and to mark his birthday, he made an exciting announcement. The singer has officially extended his eagerly awaited P-POP CULTURE India Tour 2026.
Karan has added Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Jaipur, Lucknow, and Ludhiana to the itinerary. With this expansion, the historic tour has expanded to 12 locations nationwide, including its first stadium shows.
Karan Aujla expressed his love for the country after extending the tour and said, “The love from India has always been unreal, and my fans have truly been my day ones. As I turn a year older, I wanted to keep them at the centre of the celebration. Expanding the tour and visiting more cities is my way of celebrating this journey with everyone who’s been part of it.”
Mohit Bijlani, Founder, Team Innovation states, “Karan Aujla is the ultimate fan-first artist, turning a personal milestone into a nationwide celebration. With Tier 2 cities and cultural capitals embracing Punjabi pop, Lucknow, Jaipur, and Ludhiana have emerged as key live-music markets, proving that the genre’s reach now spans far beyond Tier 1 metros. The response to the P-POP CULTURE India Tour has been historic. The speed of ticket sales and the demand from across the country made this expansion inevitable. This tour is not just breaking records—it’s redefining the scale and future of Punjabi music touring in India.”
Following a record-breaking on-sale in late November of last year that saw over 1,00,000 tickets sold within the first hour of general sales—a first for any Punjabi artist in history—the decision to add new cities was made in response to months of online petitions and record-breaking fan demand.
With the extended route, the promoters now anticipate a historic attendance of more than 5,000,000 people in every city, which will revolutionise Indian touring and fuel the growth of the live music industry.
The P-POP CULTURE India Tour 2026 builds on the incredible momentum of Aujla's record-breaking It Was All A Dream India Tour in 2024, which attracted over 2,00,000 fans over ten shows as part of a global run that brought in over USD 15 million in revenue in Canada, the UK, North America, New Zealand, and India.
The tour also coincides with a number of significant worldwide achievements, such as Aujla's debut as the first Punjabi performer to headline Rolling Loud and the chart-topping triumph of his highly regarded album P-POP CULTURE.
P-POP CULTURE, which was released in August 2025, became the highest-debuting Punjabi-language album on the Canadian Billboard Charts after debuting at #1 on Spotify and Apple Music in both India and Canada, with all 11 tracks charting concurrently.

In every city, fans can anticipate a dynamic lineup that includes songs from P-POP CULTURE in addition to Aujla's biggest international hits, as well as her trademark high-energy shows and unexpected celebrity guests.
