Singer-songwriter Karan Aujla has recently sent the fans into a frenzy with the latest announcement. He has announced a concert for Mumbai audiences called "Karan Aujla P-POP Culture India Tour - Mumbai 2.0," set for April 12, 2026, for free.
All original ticket holders from the March 3, 2026, Mumbai concert will be able to attend the event for free.
This will be the first time in Indian history that a fully produced concert is followed by a completely new performance for the same audience.
Talking about the initiative, Karan Aujla said, “Mumbai has always shown me incredible love, and this concert is dedicated to my day ones! I want every fan to know they are valued, acknowledged and respected. For everyone who came out to celebrate with us, we’re coming back to create magic again and this time it’s going to be one wild party. Big shoutout to my brothers Team Innovation for doing this!”
The announcement comes after the roughly 15,000-audience Holi concert was held at MMRDA Grounds on March 3. The musicians and promoters decided to respond positively by returning to the city with a reinvented nighttime performance experience after analysing audience feedback from the event.
A worldwide, cutting-edge production setting will be used for the forthcoming event in an effort to improve the performance's size, technology, and overall immersion.
Karan Aujla will again collaborate with Team Innovation for the upcoming gig.
Mohit Bijlani, Co-Founder, Team Innovation, noted, “After reviewing and acknowledging the audience feedback, we felt the most meaningful way to respond was with a gesture of gratitude to the fans. Karan Aujla Mumbai 2.0 is designed as a fan appreciation concert dedicated to those who supported the tour’s Mumbai debut. At Team Innovation, we take active ownership of the audience experience and remain committed to continuously raising the bar for live entertainment in India.”
Team Innovation's co-founder, Siddhesh Kudtarkar, stated that they had fully considered audience input from the Mumbai event and admitted that additional shaded spaces and water stations could have enhanced visitor comfort. He continued by saying that future event planning would take this input into account.

Kudtarkar emphasised that the structure and timing of the performance were made explicit on ticketing systems, and it was advertised as a daytime Holi-themed festival at an open-ground venue. He pointed out that the weather has an uncontrollable impact on fans, the artist, and the operational crew.
Security monitoring indicates that the venue operated within its intended capacity and that no stampede or crowd-safety incidents were reported. Alcohol was not offered because of a Maharashtra government order, drinking water was sold at counters. A 25% refund was given to those who had lounge packages.
The event is a component of Karan Aujla's 10-city P-POP Culture India Tour, which has already drawn sizable crowds in Delhi and Pune. Through March and April, the journey will continue through Chandigarh, Indore, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Jaipur, Lucknow, and Ludhiana.
With Mumbai 2.0, Karan Aujla and Team Innovation set a new standard for live entertainment in India by putting fans at the centre of every experience, raising the bar through active ownership, and providing cutting-edge formats that push the limits of scale and creativity so that each performance is better than the last.
Meanwhile, the tickets for Karan Aujla's Pop Culture India Tour - Mumbai 2.0 will be available on District by Zomato.
