Punjabi music star Karan Aujla has responded after his P-Pop Culture World Tour stop in Mumbai sparked significant online backlash over alleged poor management and difficult conditions during the Holi-themed daytime concert at MMRDA Grounds on March 3, 2026.

Videos and social media posts from attendees showed fans complaining about scorching heat, inadequate facilities, and long queues for water — with some concertgoers reportedly fainting under the sun due to heat stress and crowding.

Many attendees described the arrangements as lacking basic comforts for such a large festival crowd, pointing to issues like sprinklers only being installed in the Fan Zone while VIP and General areas remained hot and exposed, poor crowd control leading to cramped spaces, and insufficient shade or hydration stations for people waiting in queues. Some users even labelled the experience the “worst concert ever” in posts highlighting how the stage visibility was limited and how conditions deteriorated under the midday sun.

In response to the criticism, Karan took to Instagram Stories after his Pune show — held later the same day — and posted a picture of himself with the message: “Bombay, I think we need to add a night concert. Team Innovation, y’all coming back stronger or what???”.

By tagging his event organisers Team Innovation, he signalled a willingness to consider another performance in Mumbai, potentially at night, which could help alleviate the challenges posed by daytime heat and improve the overall concert experience.

Although no official date has yet been announced for the proposed night concert, fans have shown excitement at the hint, viewing it as a possible response to their concerns. Meanwhile, the singer’s India tour continues to other major cities including Chandigarh, Indore, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Jaipur, Lucknow and Ludhiana through April 2026.
