Global K-pop sensation Blackpink has officially made their long-awaited return with their third mini album “Deadline,” released on February 27 at 2 PM (KST).
The comeback has sent fans into a frenzy, as this marks the group’s first full-group album in three years and five months. The project also serves as the concluding chapter of their massive world tour, making it an especially emotional milestone for BLINKs worldwide.
According to YG Entertainment, the album encapsulates “Blackpink’s irreversible best moments” and “Blackpink’s current brilliance at those best moments.” The agency emphasized that the five-track record spans diverse musical styles, highlighting the group’s boundless artistic growth and evolution over the years.
Taking to Instagram, Blackpink announced that the title track “GO” is officially out, amplifying excitement around the globe.
The mini album features five tracks: lead single “Jump,” alongside “Go,” “Me and My,” “Champion,” and “Fxxxboy.” Each song contributes to the dynamic range that defines this comeback era.
The title track “GO” blends a commanding soundscape with an irresistibly addictive melody. The music video teaser had already teased grandeur on an epic scale, showing the members embarking on a cosmic journey—navigating a stormy sea and crossing a land filled with flowing lava. The cinematic ambition and striking visuals immediately captured attention.
The full music video delivers on that promise. It showcases breathtaking imagery, transitioning from outer space landscapes to molten lava terrain and roaring ocean waves. One particularly surreal moment features towering waves of the new song “GO” cascading over the 8-meter-high digital Gwanggaeto Stele, a monument carrying 1,600 years of history, creating a visually poetic blend of heritage and futuristic artistry.
Speaking about the album and their reunion, member Jennie shared with Billboard, “Everyone took their own journey [during] this time, and I’m excited to share that with the girls. I want to say it’s going to be the most powerful [versions] of ourselves that anyone has seen.”

Before reuniting as a full group, the members had each explored solo ventures. LISA released her debut solo album Alter Ego, ROSÉ unveiled Rosie, and JENNIE introduced Ruby, while JISOO dropped her EP Amortage. These individual projects allowed each member to carve a distinct musical identity before coming together again for Deadline.
Even before the album’s official release, Blackpink shattered yet another record. Since beginning full-scale album promotions on the 15th, their official YouTube channel has gained an average of 10,000 new subscribers per day. In doing so, they became the first artist in the world to surpass 100 million YouTube subscribers, further cementing their global dominance.
