When global pop culture meets local language, the internet reacts in seconds. That is exactly what happened after BLACKPINK dropped the teaser of their upcoming track GO from their third mini album DEADLINE.

Indian BLINKs were quick to notice something unexpected and instantly iconic.

In the teaser released on February 23, Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa and Rosé unveiled a sleek, futuristic glimpse of the music video along with promotional stills.

While the visuals hinted at a powerful and possibly rebellious concept, it was one specific detail that sent Indian fans into celebration mode.

The word GO appeared in seven different languages, including English, Korean, Thai, Japanese, Spanish and Chinese. But what truly stood out was the Hindi translation written in Devanagari script: चलो.

The appearance of “चलो!” meaning “Let’s go” immediately sparked emotional reactions across social media. For many Indian fans, this was more than just a translation. It felt like recognition.

One fan wrote on X, “What the holy hell and heaven. I saw a hindi text ‘चलो!’ (go) in my BLACKPINK's ‘Go’ teaser video? Pinch me guys, a win! Blown away with the teaser and can't wait for the MV.” Another posted, “They put चलो in the teaser which means let's go in Hindi!! Namaste BLACKPINK.” A third user shared, “i really can't believe hindi got represented in blackpink's teaser for go mv this makes me so happy.”

Several fans described it as a proud moment for Indian BLINKs who have supported the group since their 2016 debut. The hashtag Chalo began trending among desi fans, with many calling it a thoughtful nod to BLACKPINK’s massive Indian following.

The group recently wrapped up their DEADLINE world tour and is now gearing up for the full release of the mini album on February 27. GO is said to be the title track, and the teaser suggests a high-concept production with bold styling and sharp choreography.

With anticipation already sky-high, the inclusion of Hindi has only strengthened the emotional connection between the group and their Indian fanbase. Whether it is a small gesture or a strategic global move, one thing is clear. BLACKPINK knows how to keep BLINKs talking, and Indian fans are more than ready to say, “Chalo.”
