Ranbir Kapoor is currently immersed in the production of the upcoming film 'Ramayana,' directed by Nitesh Tiwari. After his celebrated performance in 'Animal,' Ranbir is now preparing to portray the iconic role of Lord Ram. His preparation includes a strict diet, archery training, and dedicated physical workouts to authentically embody the character.

Amid his intense preparation, Ranbir’s latest appearance has sparked curiosity and excitement. Over the weekend, he was seen in Mumbai alongside his close friend and director Ayan Mukerji. Ranbir's new look features a clean-shaven head, a significant change that fans speculate is for his role in 'Ramayana.' He was casually dressed in a black T-shirt and orange shorts, looking notably different yet striking.

Sunny Deol will portray Lord Hanuman, and television actor Ravi Dubey will take on the role of Lord Lakshman, Ranbir's on-screen brother. While there were rumors that Yash, famed for his role in 'KGF,' would play Ravana, these were dispelled recently. Yash will not be acting in the film but will serve as a co-producer.

The casting for Ravana remains undisclosed, adding an element of suspense to the ongoing production updates. 'Ramayana' is not just a single film but is planned as a trilogy, with the first part scheduled for release in 2025.
