Linkin Park performed at Lollapalooza India 2026 in Mumbai on Sunday, just days after making their debut in India with a gig in Bengaluru. Thousands of Indian fans attended the concert, vibing to their music.
However, the rock band reportedly wore Khadi clothes while performing in India, happily embracing the country’s culture and heritage.
Veteran actor Kamal Haasan marked the milestone moment on social media. He took to his Instagram and shared a picture of Linkin Park revealed that the band had worn Khadi attire.
He penned in the caption, “Linkin park ! Linking khadi TO the western world. Thank you KHHK.”
With a career-defining show that included songs like Numb, In The End, Crawling, and Faint, as well as more recent tunes like The Emptiness Machine and Heavy Is The Crown, the band dominated the stage.
Tens of thousands of people sang back every lyric, turning the arena into a single chorus and producing the weekend's most impactful crowd moment.
Mike Shinoda expressed gratitude following the success of the concert and said, "Thank you so much for supporting the band over the years, especially the new music. And thank you for patiently waiting for us and consistentantly asking for us to be here!"
