Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2: Amar Upadhyay on the leap, ‘Toughest aspect of portraying Mihir, as he ultimately betrays Tulsi’

Star Plus’ favorite show, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, has taken a decisive turn, offering emotionally intense episodes and surprising developments. Amar Upadhyay, portraying the beloved character Mihir Virani, has expressed his views on the forthcoming leap episode, calling it both surprising and significantly difficult.

Regarding the leap, Amar disclosed that the progression caught him off guard and required significant emotional depth as an actor. Thinking about Mihir’s path after the leap, the actor mentioned, “When I learned about the leap, I was truly surprised, and I can assure you that the episodes ahead will be quite intriguing. This stage has been among the toughest aspects of portraying Mihir, as he ultimately betrays Tulsi’s love and faith once more.”

He expanded on the character's emotional depth, emphasizing how Mihir turns into the source of suffering for the one who loves him without conditions. “Tulsi cares for Mihir with total sincerity and intensity, and still, Mihir turns into the one who causes her the greatest pain,” Amar remarked, emphasizing the sorrow at the heart of the story, as quoted by TellyChakkar.

A deeply affecting moment for Mihir following the leap is his visit back to Shantiniketan, now devoid of its warmth and vitality. Amar expressed, “Entering Shantiniketan after the break and seeing it vacant was truly heartbreaking for me as Mihir. That quiet conveyed more than words. It was more than a house; it was a place brimming with love, family, and collective memories.”

He finished by observing that Mihir’s struggle, dealing with guilt while facing the repercussions of his decisions, enhances the emotional depth and authenticity of the narrative, captivating the audience.

It will surely be interesting to see how the narrative changes the dynamics in the Virani family post the leap, as Tulsi and Mihir will be living separate lives
