Amid ongoing turbulence surrounding NewJeans and their agency ADOR, YouTuber Lee Jin Ho has stirred fresh controversy by alleging reasons behind Danielle’s exclusive contract termination. Following ADOR’s recent announcement confirming that Danielle’s contract had been terminated, Lee, who frequently presents himself as an industry insider, released a video claiming to explain why HYBE and ADOR allegedly “targeted” the singer.
Lee Jin Ho stated it was a serious breakdown of trust, not just between Danielle and the company, but also among the members themselves. “I don’t want to reveal it, but I will. Danielle didn’t just lose the trust of ADOR and HYBE; she also lost the trust of the members,” he said.
Danielle filmed a snack advertisement in Southeast Asia without HYBE's permission, and by shooting the Omega watch ad solo, she lost the trust of the NewJeans members. According to Lee, the dispute revolves around the nature of NewJeans’ contractual structure. He explained, “NewJeans members + ADOR + company = a three-party contract,” adding that the members later sought changes to this arrangement. “However, the members requested to change to a two-party contract (NewJeans members + company = two-party contract).”
Lee further alleged that Danielle’s individual actions complicated the situation. Referring to endorsement deals, he said, “Omega -> confirmed as a three-party contract.” He then questioned what that implied about Danielle’s activities, stating, “You signed a three-party contract with ADOR? Did you make money on your own? A separate three-party contract, separate from ADOR.”
He also drew attention to luxury brand promotions, asking, “Danielle’s watch… what does that mean?” Lee went on to claim that ADOR had obtained proof of contractual violations, stating, “Secured evidence: Did Danielle commit a breach of contract? She also filmed a snack commercial in Southeast Asia.”
The most serious allegation came when Lee accused Danielle of conducting solo activities without informing either ADOR or her fellow members. He claimed, “During the dispute, Danielle was secretly going to Southeast Asia without ADOR or the members knowing, filming a snack ad, planning to collaborate with an American singer, and trying to sign a two-party contract for an Omega ad, but got caught by ADOR and ended up doing a three-party contract. Honestly, ADOR and the other members have every right to feel betrayed by Danielle. She did way too many solo activities on her own.”

Reactions from Korean netizens have been sharply divided. Many questioned Lee Jin Ho’s credibility, pointing out his reputation as a so-called “cyber wrecker.” Comments on TheQoo reflected widespread skepticism, with users saying, “I don’t want to see anything about these cyber wreckers… don’t show any interest,” and “It’s a bit sketchy about the Omega ad, but the results will come out in court, so I don’t trust these cyber wreckers.”

Others acknowledged that some details might eventually be clarified through legal proceedings. “But the watch ad and snack ad were all facts?” one comment read, while another stated, “This is why cyber wreckers aren’t dying down… No matter how much we criticize them, people will always be using them.” A particularly harsh response claimed, “Lee Jin Ho is known to be HYBE’s dog… he just exposes anything, whether or not it’s true.”
