South Korean star Ok Taec-yeon, widely known for his performances in popular dramas like Vincenzo, Bring It On, Ghost, Save Me and Blind, is set to begin a new chapter in his personal life. The actor will tie the knot with his longtime non-celebrity partner on April 24, 2026.
The news was officially confirmed by his agency 51K. On the 25th, a representative from 51K told OSEN, "We ask for your understanding as we are unable to provide detailed schedules since the bride-to-be is a non-celebrity."
Earlier reports had revealed that the wedding ceremony would take place on April 24 this year at an undisclosed location in Seoul. According to media outlets, Ok Taec-yeon’s partner is four years younger than him, and the couple has been in a committed relationship for nearly a decade.
The actor personally confirmed the happy news through a heartfelt handwritten letter. In it, he shared, "I have promised to spend the rest of my life with the person who has believed in me for a long time. We will support each other and walk through life together from now on."
He further expressed his gratitude to fans, writing, "I would like to sincerely thank everyone who has consistently supported me with the same heart until I became who I am today. I cannot express how much your love and support have been a tremendous strength to me." He added, "I will continue to do my best to repay the love and trust you have given me as a member of 2PM, as an actor, and as your Taec-yeon, without change."
Ok Taec-yeon had publicly confirmed his relationship with his then-girlfriend, now fiancée, in 2020. In February last year, speculation about a possible engagement surfaced after a photo emerged showing him holding out a ring with the Eiffel Tower in Paris visible in the background. The image quickly sparked rumours that he had proposed.
At the time, his agency denied the marriage speculation, clarifying, "It was an event taken to commemorate his girlfriend's birthday." However, nine months later in November, 51K confirmed that the actor would soon be entering married life. The agency had stated, "Ok Taec-yeon has promised to spend his life with the person he has been in a long-term relationship with. The wedding ceremony is scheduled to take place next spring in an undisclosed location in Seoul, attended only by family members from both sides, relatives, and close friends, and will be held privately."

On the professional front, Ok Taec-yeon debuted in 2008 as a member of the K-pop group 2PM. Over the years, he successfully transitioned into acting, earning praise for his roles in dramas such as Dream High, Secret Royal Inspector & Joy, Soul Mate and Grand Maison Paris, among others.
As he prepares to walk down the aisle, fans across the globe are sending warm wishes to the singer-actor as he embarks on this new journey.
