Marry My Husband actor Lee Yi Kyung has been entangled in controversy after a person, allegedly from Germany, made shocking accusations. The person, whose identity has been kept a secret, accused him of making obscene comments.
According to Koreaboo, the accuser has now released a statement admitting that they have been cooperation with the Korean police investigation.
The statement reads, “The reason I haven’t made a separate statement until now is because I have been cooperating with the Korean police investigation.”
It continued, “Korean laws and procedures are different from those in other countries, and I was also concerned about potential disadvantages that could affect me. After much consideration, I decided to cooperate with the investigation to prove that this incident is true.”
They added, “I have submitted all the evidence related to the case that I currently have. I have also provided information on my identity to the investigative authorities. Considering that I cannot visit Korea in person, I am continuing cooperation with the lead investigator remotely. The investigation has been ongoing for more than a month and is taking a considerable amount of time.”
The accuser further noted, “Even if it takes time, I intend to cooperate faithfully until the end and await the results. Once the investigation is complete, I believe it will be clearly revealed through the authorities who the person involved in the provided materials is.”
They concluded, “I sincerely hope the truth of this case is clearly uncovered, no matter how long it takes.”
The latest update came after the accuser previously revealed personal information about Lee Yi-kyung in October. Captured messages with an individual claimed to be Lee Yi-kyung contained obscene insults, sexual harassment, and demands that the person was asked to share intimate images. Selfies and images from Lee Yi-kyung's filming location were also made public.
Following an instant announcement of legal action by Lee Yi-kyung's side, the accuser abruptly changed their mind and claimed the content had been "manipulated with AI." Person A then made further accusations, shifting their position once more.

Lee Yi-kyung's organization said that it is suing the person under the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilisation and Information Protection on allegations of defamation and intimidation.
The agency said it has filed a complaint, secured the person’s identity, and that an investigation by the authorities will proceed.
Lee Yi Kyung left the MBC entertainment program Hangout with Yoo and the E Channel variety show Brave Detectives 4 after the issue.
