BTS member V has recently fallen victim to the generative Artificial Intelligence amid its rapid advancement. The singer shared a social media post with his fans, but the background music garnered his fans’ attention.
V took to his Instagram and updated his fans on his latest location in an Instagram post. He included the music ‘Where Your Warmth Begins’ by Sienna Rose with the post. After that, the artist thanked V on social media for borrowing her song, which led ARMYs to research her further.
Fans just discovered that Sienna Rose was an AI-generated "artist" rather than a genuine person at that point. Recent allegations claim that well-known streaming services are increasingly promoting artificial intelligence (AI)-generated music under fictitious artist names.
In addition to their music, these artists have a fully developed internet presence that is entirely AI-curated. Therefore, everything about them, from their voices to their image, is generated.
It instantly sparked reactions on social media. V's promotion of AI-generated music drew criticism from some, while others backed him, claiming that he might not have realised it, much like millions of other people who are being duped by AI-generated entertainment.
A few of the BTS members have already voiced their strong opposition to AI-generated art.
On the work front, BTS V will be gearing up for the release of the new studio album called ARIRANG, set to release on March 20, 2026. BTS will make a full-group comeback in 2026 after serving in the military.
They are also preparing for the ARIRANG World Tour. Fans across the world will be able to witness BTS's first live performances together in years as they launch their comeback with a Netflix-streamed live concert event and documentary in the run-up to the tour.
