Global K-pop sensation BTS is preparing for a highly anticipated full-group comeback following a prolonged hiatus, marked by a major concert set to take place next month at Seoul’s iconic Gwanghwamun Square. With excitement building among fans worldwide, details regarding ticket booking and access for the event have now been officially revealed.
According to an announcement made by global fan platform Weverse on Monday, the free outdoor concert—titled “BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE : ARIRANG”—will be accessible to the public through two distinct channels. These include general ticket reservations as well as a separate global fan lottery hosted on Weverse.
Concert date and time
The concert is scheduled for March 21 at 8 p.m., with Gwanghwamun Square set to transform into a massive open-air performance venue. The site will be organised into both standing and reserved seating sections, each governed by specific entry guidelines and viewing rules depending on the zone.
Ticket sale details
General ticket reservations will open at 8 p.m. on February 23 through NOL Ticket, the official Korean ticketing service handling the event. NOL Ticket provides both Korean and international booking platforms, with the global version—NOL World—accepting major international credit cards, enabling overseas fans to take part in the reservation process.
Detailed booking instructions will be released at noon on February 20 via both Weverse and NOL Ticket. At present, the organisers have not disclosed the exact number of tickets that will be allocated for general booking or the fan lottery.
In addition, a Weverse Global raffle will be conducted exclusively for members of BTS’ official fan club, ARMY. Eligibility for the raffle requires purchasing BTS’ upcoming album during the designated entry period. The raffle will be open to fans of all nationalities, with winners chosen through a lottery system. Further information regarding the raffle is expected to be announced on Weverse on Tuesday.
Where to stream online
For fans unable to attend in person, the concert will be livestreamed globally via Netflix, reaching audiences across more than 190 countries and regions. This event marks Netflix’s first-ever live broadcast of a concert by a single artist or group.
Who can attend the concert?
As a free public event, the concert is expected to attract not only devoted fans but also members of the general public passing through the area. This aligns with BTS’ vision of bringing music into shared public spaces. Organisers are also planning to air the performance live on nearby electronic billboards, ensuring that those outside the main venue can still be part of the experience.

Given the scale of the event, authorities are taking extensive security measures. Police confirmed on Monday that counter-terrorism special forces will be deployed in anticipation of the concert, with officials expecting crowds of up to 260,000 people to gather at Gwanghwamun Square and surrounding areas.
According to police estimates, the maximum crowd size will stretch from the concert stage at the northern end of Gwanghwamun Square to Sungnyemun Gate. Of the total expected turnout, approximately 230,000 people are projected to gather in the area between Gwanghwamun Square and Daehanmun, the main gate of Deoksu Palace.
