For fans around the world, the wait is finally paying off. Tickets for BTS’ upcoming “Arirang” world tour have officially sold out across North America and Europe, a clear sign that the global appetite for the group’s return is stronger than ever.
The update was confirmed on Tuesday by the group’s agency, BigHit Music, which described the response as overwhelming.
According to the agency, tickets for all 41 shows across the two regions disappeared almost immediately after going on sale on Saturday.
For many fans, the sell-out was hardly surprising. After years of solo activities and military service, the prospect of seeing all seven members of BTS back on stage together has been long-awaited and deeply emotional.
The “Arirang” tour is shaping up to be historic in scale. Set to be the largest world tour in K-pop history, it will begin on April 9 at the Goyang Sports Complex near Seoul.
From there, BTS will take the show across 34 cities and 79 performances, bringing their music to fans across continents.
BigHit Music has also revealed that the tour will feature a 360-degree stage design, allowing audiences to experience the performances from every angle and creating a more intimate connection despite the massive venues.
The North American leg of the tour will kick off on April 25 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, before BTS travels through 12 cities across the region. The group will then head to Europe, where they are scheduled to perform 10 shows in five cities.
Due to extraordinary demand, additional dates have already been added in Tampa, Stanford, and Las Vegas, giving more fans a chance to attend.
The tour also arrives at a significant moment in BTS’ career. Ahead of the concerts, the group will release their fifth studio album, “Arirang,” on March 20.
The 14-track album marks their first full-length release since “Proof” in June 2022 and their first since all members completed mandatory military service — a milestone fans have been eagerly awaiting.
To mark the album’s release, BTS will hold a comeback concert at Gwanghwamun Square in central Seoul on March 21.
