K-pop band BTS member Jungkook has a huge fan base all around the globe. Unfortunately, his popularity seems to have affected his privacy as he has faced multiple intrusions by his fans.
Police have arrested a Brazilian national in her 30s for disturbing Jungkook at his home. The woman was arrested by the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul for allegedly breaking the Stalking Punishment Act. The woman went to Jungkook's home in Yongsan-gu on January 4 at 2:50 p.m. She was arrested on the same day.
Before being detained by police, the accused was allegedly seen writing notes, hanging pictures on railings, and tossing mail, among other disruptive behaviours.
The woman was immediately arrested for trespassing after visiting Jungkook's house on December 13. On the 28th of the same month, she allegedly broke the Stalking Punishment Act once more by returning to the residence.
Additionally, a restraining order against the woman was reportedly requested by Jungkook's side. Police intend to look into the case in the interim to ascertain the precise facts surrounding the incidents.
This is not the only time she faced intrusion. On June 11, the day that Jungkook was released from military service, a Chinese woman in her 30s paid him a late-night visit at his house.

Before the police arrived and arrested her on the spot, she made several attempts to push the keypad door lock. After Jungkook returned from the military, the woman told the police that she had travelled from China to Korea to see him.
The charges against the Chinese woman were dropped by the Seoul District Prosecutors' Office, which was in charge of this case, because she was unable to actually trespass onto his property and posed little risk of reoffending because she had left for her native country.
