The 2025 MBC Entertainment Awards were held with much fanfare, celebrating the year’s most impactful stars and programs across variety shows, talk shows, reality formats, and radio. The ceremony honoured entertainers who shaped MBC’s programming throughout the year, with familiar faces and breakout names sharing the spotlight.
Unsurprisingly, Yoo Jae Suk emerged as the biggest winner of the night, taking home the Grand Prize (Daesang). The veteran entertainer also received an Entertainer of the Year Award for his unmatched influence and longevity in Korean entertainment.
Another standout was Kim Yeon Koung, who had a remarkable evening. She won Rookie Award (Female), Best Couple Award alongside In Ku Shi, and also secured an Entertainer of the Year Award, making her one of the most decorated personalities of the ceremony.
The Entertainer of the Year title was awarded to multiple stars who left a strong imprint in 2025, including Jun Hyun Moo, Kian84, Jang Do Yeon, Kim Yeon Koung, and Yoo Jae Suk.
The Wonder Coach proved to be one of MBC’s most impactful programs, winning both Best Teamwork Award and Entertainer Program of the Year.
In radio, Tay received the Grand Excellence Award (Radio), while Eric (THE BOYZ) took home the Rookie Award (Radio).
Rookie awards were presented to Kim Yeon Koung (Female) and Choi Hong Man (Male), while excellence awards recognised performers such as Shin Bong Seon, Koo Sung Hwan, and Dex. Radio excellence honours went to Kim Il Jung and Lee Sang Soon.
The Lifetime Achievement Award was posthumously awarded to Jeon Yu Seong, with Kim Shin Young accepting on his behalf. It was one of the most emotional moments of the ceremony.
