Telugu superstar Jr NTR has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Delhi High Court for protecting his personality rights in the digital era. On Monday evening, the actor shared a note on X (formerly Twitter) by thanking the court for issuing a protective order that safeguards his identity from misuse.

In his post, Jr NTR acknowledged the growing challenges celebrities face due to technology, artificial intelligence and online misuse. He appreciated the court’s timely action which helps prevent unauthorised use of a person’s name, image, voice or likeness. The actor also thanked his legal team for standing by him throughout the process.

“I thank the Hon’ble Delhi High Court for granting a protective order that safeguards my personality rights in today’s digital age. My sincere appreciation to Supreme Court Advocates Dr. Balajanaki Srinivasan and Dr. Alka Dakar, along with Mr. Rajender and team of Rights & Marks, for their dedicated legal support. Deeply thankful for your steadfast support,” Jr NTR wrote.

In recent years, the issue of personality rights has become very important, especially for public figures. With an extreme increase of deepfake videos, edited images, online, many celebrities are seeking legal protection. Personality rights allow individuals to control how their identity is used commercially and publicly.

Jr NTR joins several well known celebrities who have approached the Delhi High Court for similar protection. Actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan, Karan Johar, Rishab Shetty and Akkineni Nagarjuna have also taken legal steps to protect their identities.

On the work front, Jr NTR was last seen in Devara: Part 1, directed by Koratala Siva. He recently made his Hindi film debut with War 2, sharing screen space with Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani. He is currently working on an upcoming film directed by Prashanth Neel, which is reportedly titled Dragon.
