Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan recently announced that there will be a big reveal of War 2 on the birthday of Telugu superstar Jr. NTR, which is today (May 20).

The wait is only a few more hours, as the much-awaited teaser of War 2 will be out anytime soon. Before you catch a glimpse of the action-packed teaser, here's what you can expect from the Ayan Mukherjee directorial actioner.

The movie, like its prequel, will be high on action sequences, which are bound to give you an adrenaline rush. It is an espionage thriller like Pathan and Ek Tha Tiger. Hrithik, as was shown in the first part, is a special agent with a mysterious past.

This is Jr. NTR's Bollywood debut and if reports are to be believed, then the RRR actor will be seen in an out-and-out negative role in War 2. And die-hard NTR fans can't wait to watch his deadly avatar.

Jr. NTR has also lost a lot of weight for the movie to look his part. And his leaner self is making the rounds on social media, with many praising his hard work.

‘War2’ has been shot across six different countries—Italy, Spain, Japan, Abu Dhabi, Russia, and Mumbai—over the period of 150 days.

The movie went on floors in February 2024 and a majority of its high-octane action sequences have been shot in real locations.

The makers have also announced a peppy song, which will be a face-off between Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR, to be shot soon.

The actors will shoot for the much-anticipated song in the month of June.

War 2 also has Kiara Advani as the leading lady opposite Hrithik Roshan. The film has two songs composed by Pritam—one is on Hrithik and NTR and the other one is a romantic, soulful number picturized on Hrithik and Kiara.

And if reports are to be believed, a brief portion of action sequences like hand-to-hand combat, mid-ocean action stunts, sword fights, or car-and-bike chases are left, which will also be shot soon.

The movie is at the edit table now and will be released ahead of Independence Day 2025. The movie's tentative release date is August 14, 2025.
