
Kianna Underwood, a young performer who starred in Nickelodeon's All That and Little Bill, passed away following a hit-and-run in New York City last week. She was 33.
According to NBC News, which cited the New York Police Department, Kianna was hit by a black SUV on January 16 while crossing a junction in Brooklyn's Brownsville area.
The reports further stated that she was struck by a black and grey vehicle when she was lying on the street.
The authorities told the outlet, “The operators of the vehicles did not remain on scene.”
Kianna was reportedly pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation into Kianna Underwood's death is still underway, and no arrests have been made.
Who was Kianna Underwood?
Kianna Underwood was born in New York City and later relocated to Los Angeles.
She was popularly known for starring in the children's sketch comedy show All That Season 10 in 2005. She also lent her vocals on the Bill Cosby-created animated series Little Bill in the late 1990s and early 2000s. She voiced the character Fuschia Glover in the Nick Jr. show.
She went on to star in The 24 Hour Woman, in which she starred opposite Rosie Perez, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Patti LuPone and more.
Kianna also had a cameo in Death of a Dynasty, a satirical comedy about the hip-hop industry, starring Kevin Hart.
Besides this, Kianna also performed on stage as little Inez during the first national tour of Hairspray.

Was Kianna Underwood homeless?
All That cast member Angelique Bates shared a video in November 2023 revealing that her fellow child actor desperately needed assistance. She also called out members of the All That crew for not doing anything to comfort her.
Angelique accused people who participated in All That of behaving like cast members are one big family and then being picky about who they try to aid, though she did not give names. She also didn't say who else on the Nickelodeon sketch program was getting help despite being in a similar circumstance to Kianna.

Angelique also slammed corporate, whose HQ is located in NYC, for not extending hands for help. She argued, “She's one of us and she needs help but she's not getting it and nobody's speaking on Kianna Underwood."
After the news of Kianna’s death, Angelique took to her Instagram expressed her sorrow. She wrote in the caption, “Y’all have no idea how much this one hurts…Sick to my stomach….So many people failed baby girl. #rip #kiannaunderwood #allthat #nickelodeon.”
