Nick Jonas recently shared a heartfelt message he would give his younger self — and it starts with a life-changing milestone: marrying Priyanka Chopra.

“Congratulations, you get to marry Priyanka Chopra,” he said, reflecting on a journey that has brought him love, family, and experiences he never imagined.

Speaking on the Jay Shetty podcast, Nick looked back on how much his life has changed since tying the knot with Priyanka in 2018 and welcoming their daughter, Malti Marie. He said that family now forms the centre of everything he does. “You also get an incredible daughter,” he added, sharing the joy and pride he feels in their little family.

Nick Jonas opened up about his relationship with Priyanka, praising her instincts, empathy, and emotional intelligence. The singer admitted with a smile that she often seems a step ahead when it comes to reading people. “She’s always right about people before I can see it,” he said, laughing at how often he realizes later that she was spot on.

The conversation took a tender turn when Nick also spoke about Malti Marie’s early arrival. Their daughter was born prematurely, weighing just 1 pound, 11 ounces. “She came into the world under very intense circumstances,” he said, recalling how what was meant to be an April birth turned into an emergency hospital stay far earlier than expected. Malti spent over three months in the neonatal intensive care unit and needed six blood transfusions in her first weeks.

During the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, Nick and Priyanka rotated 12-hour hospital shifts, supporting Malti and each other through an exhausting and emotional ordeal. The singer admitted the experience left a lasting mark — the sights, sounds, and smells of the hospital remain vivid.

But even in the face of fear, he praised Malti’s resilience. “She fought every day,” he said, recalling the moment they finally brought her home and felt a profound sense of gratitude.

Further, Nick Jonas also said he sees that same strength in Malti Marie every day. Every moment feels like a gift — one that began with marrying Priyanka Chopra and building a family that, for him, has become the greatest joy of all.
