One of the most anticipated Hollywood projects, Ocean’s 14, starring Julia Roberts and George Clooney, has officially been confirmed and is steadily moving forward.
In an interview with Access Hollywood, Julia Roberts confirmed the development of Ocean’s 14 while arriving at the 2026 Golden Globes. Speaking about the film, she said, "We're working on it. It's a lot of people with a lot of schedules," before the conversation was briefly interrupted by rap legend Snoop Dogg, who was handing out “survival kits” to stars and nominees at the event.
Moments before teasing as much as she currently could about the upcoming sixth instalment in the Ocean’s franchise, Roberts jokingly remarked that she wasn’t particularly excited to see George Clooney at the ceremony. “Saw him on Friday,” Roberts explained with a bemused smile.
Sharing more details about the project, Roberts revealed that coordinating schedules within the star-studded ensemble has been challenging, with Brad Pitt’s calendar proving the most difficult to align. “I think Brad works the most. So his schedule is probably the trickiest,” she said. Anticipating possible misinterpretation, Roberts was quick to clarify, adding, “He's not holding it up! He's just so popular.”
Both Roberts and Clooney attended the Golden Globes as nominees that evening. Roberts was nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Drama for her role in Luca Guadagnino’s After the Hunt, while Clooney earned a nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Musical or Comedy for his performance in Noah Baumbach’s Jay Kelly.
While there has been limited news about Ocean’s 14, George Clooney had previously confirmed that the film has received approval from Warner Bros. “We just got the budget approved at Warner Bros. and we're trying to set up,” he said a few months ago. He further explained, “It's just scheduling, so it's just setting a start date for us,” adding that filming would “probably start in about nine or 10 months.”
Bringing another film in the Ocean’s franchise together largely depends on coordinating the availability of its ensemble cast. When Ocean’s Eleven was released at the turn of the century, the cast already featured notable stars.

Since then, many of them have become some of the biggest names in Hollywood, with actors like Brad Pitt and Matt Damon juggling packed schedules that make scheduling the project more complex.
Despite their impressive track records at the Golden Globes—Roberts has won three awards and Clooney has taken home four—the two stars left Sunday night’s ceremony without a win.
