K Pop Singer Rosé arrived at the 2026 Grammy Awards with the quiet confidence of someone living through a long-imagined moment.
Walking the red carpet solo, the Blackpink singer chose a black strapless mini dress softened by dramatic white draping, finishing the look with Tiffany & Co. jewellery. It was understated, elegant and deeply fitting for a night that marked a turning point in her career.
For the first time, Rosé is attending the Grammys as a nominated solo artist. Her collaboration with Bruno Mars, “APT.”, has earned nods in three of the ceremony’s biggest categories — Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

The recognition feels especially meaningful as she continues to define herself beyond the global success of Blackpink.
When the nominations were announced back in November, Rosé struggled to put the moment into words. Sharing her disbelief on Instagram, she wrote, “I cannot believe my life. I am STILL trying to process everything. Thank you so so much to the @recordingacademy. This means so much to me and many many others. I’m feeling so incredibly grateful today. @brunomars look at that!!! :,) ”
In December, Rosé and Bruno Mars spoke to Billboard about how “APT.” came together, tracing it back to their first meeting in the summer of 2024. Mars jokingly said Rosé was “hustling information” from him — something she openly admitted.
“I was trying to get the most out of the meeting because I thought it’d be our last—first and last meeting, forever. Like, ‘This is my moment, I need to get all the tips, all the help I can,’” she recalled.

At the time, Rosé was just beginning to step into her solo career and was hungry to learn. “There was a lot that I was determined to learn about [as I was beginning my own solo career]. I just remember feeling like a very curious soul as to what I would want to do on my own, so it was a good opportunity for me to meet new people in this industry.”

That curiosity ultimately led to something far more lasting. “At the beginning, he really helped inspire me, not just even with ‘APT.’ but with the album [Rosie],” Rosé said.
“I had little questions and things that I couldn’t figure out…he was a big cheerleader for me at a very crucial moment.” She added.
