Super Bowl LX 2026 wasn’t all about the games and the Halftime shows. The game, held at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, unveiled the first look teaser-trailer of some of the highly anticipated movies.

The viewers get a sneak peek at the upcoming movies as 2026 has a packed schedule. From Disclosure Day to The Mandalorian and Grogu and other movies, fans get sneak peeks of multiple titles before the big game.

Disclosure Day

The first look at the science-fiction thriller was provided by the upcoming Steven Spielberg film Disclosure Day, which aired just before kickoff. The movie, which opens in theatres on June 12, features Emily Blunt, Colin Firth, Colman Domingo, and others.

The official synopsis of the film reads, “If you found out we weren’t alone, if someone showed you, proved it to you, would that frighten you? This summer, the truth belongs to seven billion people. We are coming close to ... Disclosure Day.”

The Mandalorian and Grogu

During the first quarter of the Super Bowl, The Mandalorian and Grogu received a quick Big Game spot, providing fans with a preview of filmmaker Jon Favreau's upcoming "Star Wars" film.

In the new film, which is scheduled for release on May 22, Pedro Pascal's character Din Djarin, a Mandalorian bounty hunter, and his teenage student Grogu will battle the Imperial Remnant.

Scream 7

Scream 7 originally released its Big Game spot earlier in the month, dropping the trailer on February 2.

The synopsis of the trailer reads, “When a new Ghostface killer emerges in the quiet town where Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) has built a new life, her darkest fears are realised as her daughter (Isabel May) becomes the next target. Determined to protect her family, Sidney must face the horrors of her past to put an end to the bloodshed once and for all."

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie

Another addition to the 2023 Nintendo-based animated film sequel has been unveiled with every new Super Mario Galaxy movie teaser.

Brie Larson, who played Princess Rosalina in Captain Marvel, and Benny Safdie, who directed Uncut Gems and starred in Happy Gilmore 2, as Bowser Jr. At the end of the first movie, Yoshi, the tongue-wagging dinosaur-like horse, teased his entrance.

A little clip depicts Yoshi, Toad (Keegan-Michael Key), and infant Mario and Luigi colliding with a Tyrannosaurus Rex for the 2026 Super Bowl.

As the voice of Mario, the human plumber who was transported to the Mushroom Kingdom, Chris Pratt is back. Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, and Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach are also making a comeback.

Supergirl

James Gunn, co-head of DC Studios, posted a new trailer for Supergirl on social media on Sunday, including Krypto the superdog. After a tragedy on her home planet of Krypton, Kara Zor-El (Milly Alcock), cousin of David Corenswet's Superman, first encounters the Kryptonian dog in the teaser.

The film is inspired by the popular comic book Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow and follows Kara, who made her debut at the conclusion of last summer's Superman. An alien named Ruthye Marye Knoll (Eve Ridley) approaches Kara, a boozer who goes out to parties all across the galaxy to forget her trauma, and asks for her assistance in bringing the people who slaughtered her family to justice.

Project Hail Mary

Project Hail Mary unveiled its last trailer for the Ryan Gosling film, which will be released in theatres on March 20.

Andy Weir's New York Times bestselling book of the same name served as the inspiration for the Amazon MGM movie. It centres on Gosling's character, middle school teacher Ryland Grace, who ends up on a spacecraft and has no recollection of his history or even how he got there.

The forthcoming picture was directed by the Oscar-winning team of Phil Lord and Christopher Miller.

Minions & Monsters

Minions 3, one of Despicable Me's spinoffs, features the endearing, chattering, yellow, living Twinkies again as they engage in more ridiculous antics. During the Super Bowl commercial break (shown above), Universal revealed the official title, Minions & Monsters, and directed viewers to view the entire trailer online (seen below).

The official synopsis of the film reads, “This is the rambunctious, ridiculous and totally true story of how the Minions conquered Hollywood, became movie stars, lost everything, unleashed monsters onto the world and then banded together to try and save the planet from the mayhem they had just created.”

The Adventures of Cliff Booth

Despite the streamer's failure to formally post the trailer online, screen captures, and bootleg versions of the first glimpse of The Adventures of Cliff Booth may be found on social media.

The original director, Quentin Tarantino, created the screenplay for the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood sequel, which is directed by David Fincher. Alongside Elizabeth Debicki, Carla Gugino, Holt McCallany, Karren Karagulian, JB Tadena, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Pitt makes a comeback as stuntman Cliff Booth.

The events of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, in which Cliff and his actor counterpart Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) encountered the Manson Family, are referenced by Debicki's character in the video.

Cliff said, “I don't possess many talents,” adding, “but I know better than to get in the way of a good story.”
