Actor Harsh Chhaya has unexpectedly found himself back in the social media spotlight after an old, now-deleted Facebook post of his resurfaced online. The post, written in a cryptic tone, spoke about a divorced actor couple from decades ago and quickly triggered speculation about whether it was indirectly aimed at his former wife, acclaimed actor Shefali Shah.

Though Harsh did not name anyone in the post, its timing, details, and emotional undertone were enough for netizens to start connecting dots. In the message, he described an unnamed actor couple who separated roughly 25 to 30 years ago.

According to the post, one partner chose to completely shut the chapter and move on, while the other allegedly continued to revisit the emotional pain of the marriage in public conversations years later. The observation, though generic on the surface, struck many as deeply personal.

The post gained renewed traction after screenshots were shared on X, formerly Twitter. One user shared the images with a pointed caption questioning whether Harsh was referring to Shefali Shah. What further intensified speculation was the mention that the woman in the post had later married a producer, a detail that many felt aligned closely with Shefali’s real-life marriage to filmmaker and producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah.

Once the screenshots began circulating, social media users were quick to weigh in. Some claimed the similarities were too precise to be coincidental, calling the post “obviously” directed at Shefali. Others pushed back, questioning why a decades-old relationship should be revisited in the first place, especially when both actors have long moved on in their personal and professional lives.

The reactions ranged from curiosity to discomfort. While a few users demanded clarity from those involved, others argued that reopening such matters served no real purpose and only invaded personal boundaries.

Harsh Chhaya and Shefali Shah were married for nearly six years before parting ways in 2000. At the time, reports cited incompatibility and personal differences as the reason for their separation.
