The singer-rapper Badshah has been formally contacted by the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) to enquire about his upcoming performance in Dallas, which is allegedly connected to a Pakistani-owned business.
Concerns regarding the Badshah Un-Finished Tour event, which is set for September 19, 2025, at the Curtis Culwell Centre in Dallas, USA, were raised by FWICE in an official letter to the artist.
According to reports cited by the organisation, 3Sixty Shows, a business purportedly owned and run by Pakistani nationals, is sponsoring the show.
According to Free Press Journal, the letter stated, "Dear Mr. Badshah, It has come to our attention that you are scheduled to perform in an upcoming event 'Badhshah Un-Finished Tour' at the Curtis Culwell Centre in Dallas, USA, on the 19th of Sept. 2025 which is reportedly being sponsored by 3Sixty Shows, a company owned and operated by Pakistani nationals. As you are aware, the Federation of Western lndia Cine Employees (FWICE), in alignment with the directives issued by the Ministry of lnformation and Broadcasting, Government of lndia, has clearly instructed all artists, performers, and technicians in the lndian entertainment industry to refrain from engaging in any professional collaborations or performances with Pakistani nationals or organisations connected to Pakistan. These measures are in place considering the continuing acts of terrorism and hostile activities directed against lndia from across the border."
Highlighting the recent Pahalgam terror attack, the letter continued, "The most recent and tragic example is the Pahalgam terror attack of 22nd April ZO2S, where heavily armed terrorists ambushed an army convoy, resulting in the martyrdom of five brave soldiers and injuries to several others. This incident is a painful reminder of the unrelenting violence faced by our nation and underscores the importance of solidarity in our stance against such perpetrators and their supporters. ln light of this, we request your immediate clarification regarding your association with this event and the said organisers. We trust that as a respected lndian artist, you will uphold the sentiments of the nation and the directives issued by FWICE and the Government of lndia."
The communication concluded with a request for a prompt response, noting that further action would be taken in line with FWICE’s regulations if necessary.

This is not the first such intervention by the film body. Earlier, FWICE had warned actor Kartik Aaryan over his supposed participation in an Independence Day event organised by a Pakistani restaurant in Houston. Aaryan’s team subsequently clarified:
"Kartik Aaryan is not associated with this event in any capacity. He has never made an official announcement about participating in this event. We have contacted the organisers and requested to remove all promotional materials featuring his name and image."
