Fitness influencer Stephanie Buttermore dies at 36

Fitness influencer Stephanie Buttermore passed away at the age of 36, just days after her birthday. Her fiancé, Jeff Nippard, shared a heartfelt tribute, honoring her legacy and requesting privacy.

Fitness influencer Stephanie Buttermore passed away at age 36. Her fiance bodybuilder Jeff Nippard, announced her death on Friday, March 6.

Jeff’s team published a statement on Instagram announcing Stephanie’s passing. Her cause of death has not been disclosed to the public.

The statement reads, “It is with profound sorrow that we share the sudden passing of Jeff’s fiancée and partner of ten years, Stephanie. As many of you know, Stephanie meant the world to Jeff.”

The post celebrated Stephanie’s legacy and continued, “She will be remembered for her warmth and compassion, her love for her family, and her PhD research on ovarian cancer.”

The statement ended by requesting respect for Jeff’s privacy.

Stephanie’s death came just days after her birthday celebration on February 25. Jeff shared a picture of her on Instagram less than two weeks before her birthday.

He shared a photo of the pair smiling together in honour of Valentine’s Day and penned in the caption, “Relationshipmaxxing with tea time to lower cortisol levels.”

Stephanie was also a well-known fitness influencer before she quit in May 2024. She declared at the time that she had made the decision to step back for her emotional well-being. She described how her anxiety had been "crippling," but that her mental health had improved to "the best it's ever been" after she stopped using social media.

Stephanie, who has over a million YouTube subscribers and 525K Instagram followers, regularly promoted body positivity and intuitive nutrition in her programming for women and their health journeys.

She was a cancer research scientist who earned a Ph.D. in pathology and cell biology “with a focus on the molecular mechanisms that drive ovarian cancer progression,” according to her YouTube channel.

Jeff and Stephanie announced their engagement in October 2022.
