Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda are all set to get married on February 26 at a lavish resort in Udaipur. The couple flew from Hyderabad to the venue today with their friends and the gang to begin the celebrations.
MoneyControl has exclusively learnt that the wedding will take place at 10 am as per the muhurtham on February 26. A source close to the couple said, “While the rituals in the morning will happen as per the Telugu culture and tradition, another one in the evening will happen as per the Kodava community rituals.”
It is to be kept in mind that While Vijay’s family belongs to the Telugu community, Rashmika comes from the Kodava community.
The source further revealed that Mehendi and Sangeet events have also been scheduled for the couple where the family, relatives and close knit friends from the industry are going to be part of.
All these days, the couple kept their relationship under the wraps and have finally made it official yesterday and have called it ‘The Wedding of Virosh’.
Inside the High-End Venue
The Mementos by ITC Hotels is located on the old road that connects the Nathdwara shrine and the Eklingji Temple in the village of Kailashpuri. The property has 117 suites and villas, as well as a peaceful man-made lake below and views of the Aravalli hills from all sides.
The resort is well-equipped to host multi-day celebrations because it has five restaurants, three banquet halls, and special areas for parties. Reports also say that guests may be able to hire helicopters to get to the property because it has a helipad.
Guests should start showing up on February 23. Pre-wedding events will take place on February 24 and 25, before the big day. Fans of the duo cannot wait to get a glimpse of the wedding ceremonies and to see them as a couple together.
