The action-drama Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, continues its historic theatrical run despite showing a noticeable dip on its fourth Monday at the Indian box office. On Day 25, the film earned an estimated Rs 10.5 crore, pushing its domestic total to around Rs 701 crore. Globally, the Ranveer Singh-led spectacle has now crossed Rs 1,081 crore, firmly cementing its place among the biggest blockbusters in Indian cinema.
Starring Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna in key roles, Dhurandhar has maintained a strong hold at the box office even as weekday numbers soften. According to trade estimates, the film recorded an overall occupancy of 21.27 percent on Monday, with morning shows at 11.98 percent, afternoon shows at 25.17 percent, and evening shows peaking at 26.67 percent. In the Delhi-NCR region, the film ran across 1,059 shows with 21 percent occupancy, while Mumbai registered 20.67 percent occupancy across 851 shows.
Despite the Monday drop, Dhurandhar continues to dominate the box office landscape, comfortably outperforming its Christmas-week competitor Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri. The latter opened to Rs 7.25 crore on Day 1 and has struggled to build momentum since, currently standing at just Rs 23.5 crore in India. In contrast, Dhurandhar has added over Rs 20 crore in its fourth week alone, highlighting its exceptional staying power.
The film recently entered the elite Rs 1,000 crore global club and has already surpassed the lifetime worldwide collections of Pathaan. Trade watchers are now closely tracking whether it can overtake Jawan, which stands at Rs 1,163.62 crore globally. According to studio figures, Dhurandhar earned approximately Rs 11.2 crore on its fourth Monday, taking its domestic tally even higher in some estimates.
Interestingly, the film has shown a consistent pattern since release. While it witnesses sharp Monday drops each week, ranging from 46 percent in week one to over 57 percent in later weeks, collections tend to recover steadily from Tuesday onward, culminating in strong weekend numbers. Trade analysts expect a similar rebound this week as well, aided by the holiday season and continued audience interest.
Adding to its momentum, Dhurandhar is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on January 30, 2026. Until then, the film has ample time to push its theatrical numbers even higher. The ensemble cast also includes Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Saumya Tandon, Gaurav Gera, and Danish Pandor in pivotal roles, further strengthening its wide appeal.
