Stand-up comedian Zakir Khan is all set to perform two massive stadium gigs in the NSCI Dome as part of his record-breaking "Papa Yaar" tour in Mumbai on June 13 and 14, 2026. He has visited more than 60 cities nationwide.
In reference to the Mumbai performances, Zakir Khan stated that he has a particular place in his heart for the city and that finishing the tour at the NSCI Dome is like coming home. He went on to say that the event will be more than simply a show and will honour the comedy community and fans who have supported him along the way.
Talking about the tour, he shared, "Mumbai has given me so much warmth and love- ending 'Papa Yaar' in NSCI Dome, Mumbai truly feels like coming home. This one isn't just going to be a show; it'll be a celebration of all the fans and the entire comedy fraternity, everyone who has been part of this journey."
The Mumbai leg represents a major turning point in Indian live comedy and Zakir Khan's first-ever stadium-scale stand-up performances in the city.
On February 11, 2026, general ticket sales will begin. Tickets can be purchased on BookMyShow.
Zakir Khan had previously announced a lengthy hiatus from live performances during his Hyderabad performance on January 20. Zakir Khan's staff claims that the stand-up comedian has decided to take a protracted hiatus from performing live, possibly until 2030, due to personal and health concerns.
The comedian also hinted at the break by posting a story on his Instagram account. He confirmed the decision's finality in a captioned update he tweeted after arriving in Dubai.
He wrote, "Every show is a celebration till June 20. I won't be able to come to many cities this time, so please make a little extra effort and come to the shows. Thank you for all the love."
After winning Comedy Central's "India's Best Stand-Up" competition in 2012, Zakir Khan initially became well-known. Since then, he has amassed a sizable following in India and elsewhere thanks to stand-up specials like "Haq Se Single," "Kaksha Gyarvi," and others.
