
Popular late TV personality Jaspal Singh Bhatti, who passed away in 2012, was known among the A-list celebrities, including Shah Rukh Khan.
Jaspal Bhatti’s wife, Savita Bhatti, has recently recalled a moment where Shah Rukh Khan showed chivalry and respect that had left a mark on the Bhatti family.
During a recent episode of The Himachali Podcaster, Savita Bhatti recalled, “It was the grand finale of Naach Baliye, we were out of the way. Shah Rukh Khan was there on the finale. When he made his entry, he danced, he did everything, he came and sat down.”
She added, “Farah Khan said, Shah Rukh, everyone is here. He got up from his seat. The entire set, everybody is sitting. Everyone is sitting. All the teams, all of them celebrities, known people who come to Naach Baliye. He got up, he came to us and he met him.”
Savita Bhatti further noted, “It is so heartwarming that a simple man like this, with such a unique vision. This man is able to make such an impact.”
Indian television personality Jaspal Singh Bhatti was well-known for his sarcastic approach to everyday issues. His television shows Flop Show, Full Tension, and Ulta Pulta, which aired on Doordarshan, India's public service broadcaster, in the late 1980s and early 1990s, made him popular among the audience.

He was popularly known as the King of Comedy and the King of Satire. In Chandigarh, he led a number of anti-corruption campaigns. His direct criticism of corruption, nepotism, and red tape was both humorous and enlightening for the general public.
Jaspal Bhatti passed away on October 25, 2012, following a tragic car accident near Shahkot in the Jalandhar district. He was 57. The car was being driven by his son, Jasraj Bhatti, when it hit a tree. Jaspal died just one day before the release of his film Power Cut, starring his son Jasraj.
