Bollywood actor Sunny Deol shared a quietly touching family moment as he stepped out with his sisters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol, at the special screening of his much-anticipated film Border 2.
The siblings’ rare public appearance together added a deeply personal layer to what was already a celebratory evening for the actor.
Photographs and videos from the screening captured Sunny Deol standing between his sisters, smiling warmly as they posed for the cameras.
Dressed in relaxed yet elegant outfits, the trio radiated ease and affection, their bond standing out amid the flashbulbs and fanfare of a star-studded event.
The images quickly found their way onto social media, where fans were moved by the simplicity and warmth of the moment.
While the screening was attended by cast members, industry colleagues, and close friends, the presence of Esha Deol and Ahana Deol gave the evening a more intimate feel.
Border 2, directed by Anurag Singh, is the sequel to J.P. Dutta’s iconic 1997 war film Border. Set against the backdrop of the 1971 India–Pakistan war, the film broadens its scope to showcase the combined efforts of the Indian Army, Air Force, and Navy.
Sunny Deol plays Lieutenant Colonel Fateh Singh Kaler, a seasoned officer who mentors young soldiers portrayed by Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty.
The film also stars Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh, and Medha Rana, and is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta under T-Series Films and J.P. Films.
The family moment at the screening came close on the heels of another emotional chapter for the Deols. On the eve of India’s Republic Day, the Ministry of Home Affairs announced the Padma Awards for 2026, honouring individuals whose work has left a lasting impact on the nation.
Veteran actor Dharmendra Singh Deol was posthumously honoured with the Padma Vibhushan, recognising his exceptional and distinguished contribution to Indian cinema.
With a career that spanned more than six decades, Dharmendra Singh Deol was more than a film icon—he was a presence that shaped generations, admired for his grace, emotional honesty, and enduring charm.
The honour arrived weeks after his passing on November 24, 2025, at the age of 89, following a prolonged illness. He was cremated in a private ceremony in Juhu, with members of the film fraternity gathering to pay their respects.
