Reflecting on the honour, Subhash Ghai shared his thoughts on Instagram, writing, “I felt honoured when I got an invitation yesterday from the Hon’ble President of India at Rashtrapati Bhavan for the eve of 26th January At Home Reception. I feel it’s a compliment to a filmmaker for 50 years and an educationist for 25 years — for sincere contribution towards a Viksit Bharat. I thank you all for this honour to me and my team, who pledge to continue their contribution towards nation building. Feel blessed.”
