Sohail Khan urges everyone to wear helmet

Actor–producer Sohail Khan recently opened up on social media with a heartfelt apology after a video of him riding a motorcycle without a helmet began circulating online.

Sohail took full responsibility for the incident, dealt with it head-on, and used the occasion to raise awareness of a crucial road safety message.

Sohail acknowledged that he occasionally avoids donning a helmet due to claustrophobia in an open message posted on Instagram, but he swiftly clarified that this is still an invalid justification.

He talked tenderly about his deep connection to motorcycles, remembering how his love for them started as a child with BMX bikes and eventually developed into riding strong motorcycles. He emphasized that safety must always come first, despite his passion for riding.

Sohail clarified that, as a precaution, he typically rides late at night when the roads are quiet, slowly, and with a car following him. Nevertheless, he admitted that traffic laws are applicable to everyone and promised to do better.

“I will make a genuine effort to overcome my claustrophobia and wear a helmet,” he assured fellow riders, extending a sincere apology to the traffic authorities as well. He also took a moment to salute bikers who continue to wear helmets despite discomfort, calling it an essential part of staying safe on the road. “It is better to be safe than sorry,” he added, signing off with another heartfelt apology.

Sohail Khan also recently expressed admiration for actor Meezaan Jafri, who has taken the internet by storm with his electrifying performance in the newly released track ‘3 Shaukk’ from De De Pyaar De 2.

The high-energy Punjabi beat, paired with Meezaan’s flawless dance moves, has quickly turned into a party anthem—and even impressed Sohail.

Sharing the music video on his social media, Sohail wrote a touching compliment, “Never thought we could have a better dancer than Javed, but my brother Meezaan, you have matched up to your father's legacy. Congratulations, and I hope it makes your dreams come true.”

Meezaan responded with equal warmth, reposting Sohail’s words and thanking him, “Thank you SO much, Sohail Bhai; it means a lot.”
