Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is all set to narrate a brand-new fireworks extravaganza inspired by The Lion King on Disney Cruise Line's newest vessel, the Disney Adventure.

The King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, has previously voiced Mufasa in the Hindi-language adaptation of Disney's live-action The Lion King (2019) and its follow-up Mufasa (2024).

The actor will now "lend his legendary charisma, unmistakable voice, and storytelling power" to the program, according to Disney Cruise Line.

The majority of the shows are pirate-themed, and Disney Cruise Line is the only cruise line that offers pyrotechnics at sea. The Disney Adventure, which will depart from Singapore, will be the only place to see The Lion King: Celebration in the Sky.

The actor reflected on the new gig and said, “The Lion King: Celebration in the Sky is a tribute to the power of family and community and perfectly mirrors the magic that those vacationing onboard the Disney Adventure will experience. I can’t wait for fans and families to join in this beautiful celebration of the circle of life.”

Classic songs from The Lion King, such as Circle of Life, Hakuna Matata, He Lives in You, and Can You Feel the Love Tonight, will be featured in The Lion King: Celebration in the Sky. The Ndlovu Youth Choir from South Africa is featured in the musical soundtrack, which was recorded with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra.

The ship's inaugural journey will leave Singapore on March 10, 2026.

Meanwhile, the actor is also gearing up for his highly-anticipated film, King. The makers have recently dropped a new teaser of the film. Shah Rukh stars in a fiery avatar and delivers a power-packed dialogue, "Darr nahi, deshshat hoon. (I am not fear, I am terror)."

The movie, which is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, stars Abhishek Bachchan, Suhana Khan, and Deepika Padukone.

King will hit the screens on December 24, 2026.
