Concern continues to surround veteran screenwriter Salim Khan, who has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai.

Since news of his hospitalisation broke, members of the Khan family have been by his side, reflecting the close-knit bond they share.

After Salman Khan visited the hospital in the morning, Shah Rukh Khan also paid a visit to the hospital, a gesture that many saw as a sign of solidarity and longstanding friendship between the two families.

In a circulating clip, Shah Rukh Khan can be seen seated inside his vehicle as it entered the hospital premises at night. With tight security and minimal public interaction, the visit appeared to be a quiet show of support.

On Saturday evening, Arbaaz Khan’s former wife Malaika Arora also also arrived at the hospital to check on Salim Khan’s condition.

Malaika Arora was accompanied by her son Arhaan Khan, and the two were seen stepping out of their car and heading quickly inside, keeping a low profile.

Several other members of the film fraternity have stopped by to enquire about Salim Khan’s health, including Ranveer Singh, Shilpa Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Javed Akhtar and Aamir Khan, who was accompanied by his girlfriend Gauri Spratt.

Salim Khan was admitted on 17 February after reportedly suffering a minor brain haemorrhage. Dr Jalil Parkar confirmed that Salim Khan experienced jerks and high blood pressure, following which doctors placed him on ventilator support as a precaution.

He is currently stable, has been shifted to the ICU and is recovering. However, given his age, doctors have indicated that the healing process may take time.

Amid widespread media coverage, reports suggest that Salman Khan and the family are not pleased with detailed medical information being shared publicly. A source close to the family stated that health matters are private and any official updates should come directly from them.

According to recent reports, doctors are hopeful that Salim Khan could be discharged by Monday, 23 February, if his recovery continues steadily.

Born on 24 November 1935, Salim Khan remains one of Hindi cinema’s most influential writers. As part of the legendary Salim–Javed duo, he co-wrote iconic films such as Zanjeer, Deewaar, Sholay, Don and Seeta Aur Geeta, shaping generations of Indian cinema.
