On the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri this year, Dhurandhar actress Sara Arjun commemorated the sacred festival at the Isha Foundation in Coimbatore, in the presence of Sadhguru. The actress joined thousands of devotees at the Isha Yoga Centre to observe the spiritually significant night dedicated to Lord Shiva.

The Maha Shivratri celebration hosted annually at the Isha Yoga Centre offers a distinctive spiritual experience, drawing visitors and seekers from across India and around the globe. The all-night event, guided by Sadhguru, blends meditation, music, and sacred practices, transforming Coimbatore into a hub of devotion and introspection for the occasion.

Sara Arjun, who has now attended the event multiple times, expressed her profound connection to the celebration. Sharing her thoughts, she said, "It is a pleasure to be at this space, at this time. I think it is such a privilege for all of us. It feels incredible and it is my fourth Shivratri here. Today was a very special day. I got to do the Panchamrut Kriya which was amazing. That is the first time I ever did it. I am still spell bound, I can't describe the experience but it was just incredible. I am still in awe of how I felt and how I experience all of it."

Maha Shivratri sees devotees of Lord Shiva unite across regions and cultures to observe the divine night through prayers, fasting, meditation, and sacred rituals. While customs and practices may vary from state to state, the essence of devotion and spiritual awakening remains consistent throughout the country.

The Maha Shivaratri 2026 celebrations at Isha Yoga Centre are scheduled to begin at 6 pm on February 15 and conclude at 6 am the following morning.
