This Christmas, Samaira and Kiaan Raj Kapur, children of the late businessman Sunjay Kapur and Karisma Kapoor, paid a quiet and heartfelt tribute to their father. In a photograph that quickly went viral, the siblings were seen donning jerseys from their father’s polo club, commemorating his memory during the festive celebrations.

The image, captured from behind, prominently featured the words “Aureus Polo” on their jerseys, resonating deeply with fans as a subtle yet touching homage.

Standing close together, Samaira and Kiaan appeared united, conveying a poignant sense of familial love and remembrance during the holiday season. The photograph served as a reminder of Sunjay Kapur’s enduring presence in their lives, even months after his passing earlier this year.

The heartwarming moment was shared by Kareena Kapoor, who captioned the post, “My Christmas Angels” accompanied by heart and rainbow emojis. She tagged Samaira and used the hashtag #KiaanSunjayKapur, highlighting the family’s bond and commemorating her late brother-in-law.

Sunjay Kapur was a prominent figure as the chairman of Sona Comstar and a dedicated polo player, beloved for his vibrant spirit. He was once married to the renowned actress Karisma Kapoor, with whom he shared the joy of raising two wonderful children, Samaira and Kiaan. Their journey together took a different path in 2016 when the couple separated. Following this chapter, Sunjay found love again with Priya Sachdev, and together, they welcomed a son, Azarias, further enriching their family. Priya also brought her daughter, Safira, from her previous marriage to hotelier Vikram Chatwal, creating a beautiful blend of lives and stories. Sunjay's legacy continues to shine through his children and the bonds they share.

Sunjay Kapur estate dispute

The ongoing legal battle over the estate of late industrialist Sunjay Kapur has escalated as Karisma Kapoor’s children, Samaira and Kiaan Raj Kapu,r approached the Delhi High Court, seeking a share of their father’s assets and challenging the validity of his will.

The dispute revolves around a will dated March 21, 2025, which reportedly bequeaths Sunjay’s personal estate estimated to be worth ₹30,000 crore, entirely to his third wife, Priya Kapur. Samaira and Kiaan have questioned the authenticity of the document, alleging irregularities and suggesting that the will may have been forged to exclude them from their rightful inheritance. In their petition, the siblings claim they have not been provided complete details about their father’s assets and insist that the provisions of the will are legally questionable.
